Project Information

ACCIONA is delivering major infrastructure works for Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) at Osborne, South Australia, including the Link Road Project, a 400m bridge over rail with significant utilities works. The project strengthens Australia's Defence capability and runs in a highly regulated environment with strict quality, safety and compliance standards.

About the Opportunity

As Shift Supervisor, you will supervise civil and structural construction activities on site, drawing on your background in drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP and concrete. You will coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials, help plan and sequence the works, and track progress and costs against the approved budget. You will work to Defence standards and quality systems, and act as a safety ambassador who builds a strong safety culture.

This role gives you hands-on ownership of delivery on a critical Defence project, with growth across ACCIONA's expanding Defence portfolio.





Key accountabilities for the position will be:

- Supervise civil and structural works to program, safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Act as a safety ambassador who builds a strong safety culture on site
- Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials for effective site operations
- Ensure compliance with Defence standards, specifications and quality systems
- Conduct site inspections and keep daily reports and records
- Monitor progress, sequence works and track costs and variances against budget
- Contribute to risk management, issue resolution and continuous improvement

What capability and experience will you need to have:

- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (Defence requirement)
- Proven Supervisor experience across civil and structural scopes
- Background in drainage, excavation, pavements, FRP and concrete
- Understanding of site delivery, quality and safety systems
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

Due to Defence security requirements, applicants must be Australian Citizens and eligible to obtain Baseline Security Clearance.
