Cleaner

Kindred are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to be based in our head office located in: Smallford.

- Pay: £13.45 per hour.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 15:00-17:00 OR 15:30-17:30

- Location: Head Office, Kindred, Unit A, The Courtyard, Alban Park, Hatfield Road, St. Albans, England, Hertfordshire, AL4 0LA.

- Requirements: Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About this role

Responsibilities:

General Cleaning Tasks:

- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.

- Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.

- Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning:

- Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).

- Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

- Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.

- Following health & safety regulations, including secure use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).

- Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.

Teamwork & Independence:

- Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

- Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
