Zed3 Medical Group is a multi-disciplinary mental health business operating in Canberra and via telehealth around Australia. We provide services in Psychiatry, Psychology and Paediatrics.

Our clinical work is predominantly trauma-focused, servicing a variety of clients across the Australian Defence Force, Australian Federal Police, Veteran and Civilian communities.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for PhD/Masters students studying Psychology/Counselling as well as fully Registered Psychologists, Social Workers and Counsellors to work for us remotely as a Clinical Claims Specialist, 2-3 days per week.

The primary role of the Clinical Claims Specialist is to assist in the preparation of mental health claims on behalf of Veterans to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. This involves conducting one-on-one telehealth interviews with Veterans to better understand the nature and source of their psychological injuries, along with administration and interpretation of various psychometrics.

Whilst strongly supported by the team, it is likely that in this role you will be exposed to recounts of significant trauma. Consequently, it is important that you are emotionally resilient and able to provide effective support to clients. After training in Canberra,



you will be expected to continue appointments remotely in a professional and private space.

Successful candidates will be provided with a laptop and remuneration of $46.29/hour (plus super).

- This role will begin with three days of training in Canberra on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December 2026 . All applicants must be available to attend training (costs covered).
