About the role

You will set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture and refurbish precision components, working closely with our workshop team to meet quality requirements and customer deadlines.

Key responsibilities

- Setting up, programming and operating CNC machines.

- Reading engineering drawings and machining components to specified tolerances.

- Selecting tooling, speeds, feeds and machining methods.

- Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment.

- Working with the Workshop Manager and Scheduler/Planner to keep jobs progressing.

- Maintaining equipment, housekeeping and safe work practices.

About you

- A relevant machining trade qualification.

- Experience in CNC programming, setup and operation.

- Strong drawing interpretation and precision measurement skills.





- The ability to troubleshoot machining issues and produce consistent, accurate work.

- A practical approach to meeting deadlines and resolving problems.

- A commitment to safety, quality and reliability.

- Experience machining hydraulic components, using CAD/CAM software or operating manual machines will be highly regarded.
