About The Role

Ready for your next FIFO or DIDO opportunity?

We’re looking for experienced CMT Technician’s to join our team and support our projects in remote locations. You’ll be putting your field and laboratory skills to work, testing soil, aggregates and concrete to ensure our clients get accurate and reliable results when they need them.

You’ll be confident working autonomously, adaptable to changing site conditions and able to take ownership of your work while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. If you know your way around CMT testing and enjoy the variety that comes with FIFO work, we’d like to hear from you.

Some other responsibilities include:

Out in the Field

- Collecting soil, aggregate and concrete samples for testing.
- Conducting field testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Main Roads WA test methods.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with clients and site teams.
- Recording field results directly into our laboratory information management system using company-provided tablets.
- Completing equipment compliance checks,



including standard counts on portable density moisture gauges before heading to site.

Back in the Lab

- Carrying out soil, aggregate and concrete testing.
- Completing laboratory testing in accordance with Australian Standards and Main Roads WA test methods.
- Accurately entering test results into our laboratory information management system using company-provided tablets.
- Helping keep laboratory operations running safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What are we looking for? We’re looking for an experienced CMT Technician who takes pride in their work, delivers reliable results and has the confidence to work independently while maintaining high standards.

- High level of field and laboratory experience in construction materials testing.
- Previous experience within the construction or mining industry
- FIFO or DIDO from Perth, WA
- Flexibility with rosters (e.g. 2:1, 3:1)
- Construction White Card
- Hold a current Radiation Licence
- Portable Density Moisture Gauge Certificate
- C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously
- A positive attitude, solid work ethic and willingness to keep learning.




- Ability to undergo a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
