Croydon Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and community-minded Casual Community & Tourism Support Officer to support library, community and tourism services across the Shire. This varied role offers the opportunity to work with residents and visitors, assist with community programmes and events, and help showcase Croydon’s unique heritage, attractions and Outback lifestyle.

The Position

Working across the Library, Visitor Information Centre and tourism facilities, you will:

- Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents and visitors
- Support library services, community programmes and events
- Promote local attractions, heritage and tourism experiences
- Assist with administrative tasks and day-to-day service delivery
- Contribute to positive visitor experiences and community outcomes

Skills & Experience Required

The successful applicant will have:

- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail




- Confidence using Microsoft Office 365 and willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a team
- An interest in community services, tourism, events and promoting the Croydon Shire
