About the role

Engage with key stakeholders to develop and implement solutions across complex projects. Project manage and supervise a wide range of insurance repairs including the potential for Major Loss and Commercial building reinstatement works from make safe through to completion. Actively update progress on internal job management systems, proactively carry out advance scheduling, manage forecasted work activities and ensure project completion is within set budgets and timelines.

Project manage trade workflow, quality and timeframes, including routine and mandatory site inspections. Manage client expectations, provide periodic updates, with a focus on ensuring an overall positive customer experience. Maintain all necessary WHSE site audits, risk assessments and carry out risk mitigation procedures.

About you

- Prior building supervision experience in the insurance building field essential
- Experience in commercial insurance reinstatement works preferred, as well as residential and strata construction




- Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to multitask and problem solve
- High level of customer service focus with outstanding relationship management skills
- Commitment to safety with a knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Minimum of 2 years working as a supervisor in the Insurance Building field with proven experience managing multiple projects
- A trade, preferably carpentry background will be highly regarded
- Robust understanding and knowledge of Insurance and Australian Building Codes
- Hold a Construction White Card
- Good computer literacy including Excel and Outlook, previous experience with Prime Ecosystem advantageous
- Have a valid driver's licence
- Have a current working with children check and police check (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
