GHDS is seeking a qualified and reliable Driving Instructor / Trainer and Assessor to join our team on a contract basis.

You’ll need current driving instructor accreditation in Queensland or New South Wales, strong communication skills and a passion for helping learners become protected, confident drivers.

About the role

- Deliver practical driving instruction tailored to each learner’s needs.
- Assess learner progress and provide clear, constructive feedback within the scope of your qualifications and authorisations.
- Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
- Follow relevant road rules, safety requirements and GHDS procedures.
- Communicate professionally with learners and the GHDS team.

What we’re looking for





- Current driving instructor accreditation in Queensland or New South Wales.
- A current driver licence appropriate to the vehicle classes you will teach.
- Relevant training and assessment qualifications or authorisations.
- A patient, supportive and safety-focused teaching style.
- Reliability, good time management and the ability to work independently.
- Availability to work on a contract basis

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
