Product of Italy is preparing to open our Caringbah location, and we are looking for experienced and reliable Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for people who enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality workplace, work well as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.

Chefs – Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items to Product of Italy standards
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portioning
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations
- Follow recipes, procedures and food safety requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
- Assist with stock rotation and storage
- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
- Support the kitchen during busy service periods

Kitchen Hands – Responsibilities

- Assist with general food preparation where required
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and back-of-house areas




- Assist chefs with basic preparation tasks
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with receiving, storing and organising stock
- Support the kitchen team during service

Requirements

- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience preferred
- Chef applicants should have relevant commercial kitchen experience
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Solid teamwork and communication skills
- Positive understanding of hygiene and food safety
- Reliable and punctual
- Availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
