Customer Service Manager

Hahndorf Market is looking for an experienced and motivated Customer Service Manager to lead our Customer Service team and help deliver an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the team, manage day-to-day operations, and work closely with the Directors and Supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the Customer Service department.

About the Role

As Customer Service Manager, you will:

- Lead and support the Customer Service team.

- Participate in recruitment, interviews and onboarding of recent team members.

- Support employee development.

- Prepare and manage staff rosters and approve timesheets.

- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, refunds and exchanges.

- Support daily store operations, including checkout procedures and troubleshooting register and EFTPOS issues.

- Lead by example on the shop floor and provide excellent customer service.

- Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient store operations.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Experience in retail and customer service.

- Previous leadership, supervisory or team coordination experience.

- Strong communication and people management skills.

- Good organisational and time management skills.

- Confidence using POS systems, rostering and administrative systems, or a willingness to learn.

- A positive attitude and a hands-on approach to leadership.

Desirable

- First Aid Certificate.

- Qualification in Leadership, Retail Management or Human Resources.

- Experience with retail systems, EFTPOS and rostering platforms.

Availability

This role requires availability across five days per week on a Monday to Saturday roster, with one rostered day off during the week.
