We’re Proferlo, a Brisbane furniture brand that sells online and ships Australia-wide. We’re a small team, and that’s exactly why this job is different from most.

Why this job suits problem solvers In a big company, you follow the script. Every decision goes up three levels, and good ideas get lost along the way.

That’s not how we work. When something comes up, we want you to think it through, come up with a fix and run with it. If you find a better way of doing something, we’ll probably just say “excellent, let’s do that.” You’ll always have management around to talk things through with, but we’d much rather hear “here’s what I think we should do” than “what should I do?”

What you’ll be doing (We are online store only, we do not operate a showroom)

Your week will be a mix of desk work and warehouse work.

At the desk, you’ll look after our customers. That means answering questions, keeping orders on track and making sure every customer has a great experience from checkout to delivery. Furniture is big and travels a long way, so there’s always something to figure out. It might be rerouting a delivery, tracking down a missing part, or working out the quickest way to get someone sorted. That’s the fun part.

In the warehouse, you’ll pack orders, unload and organise stock, and help keep things running smoothly. You’ll also get to see where things could work better and help us improve them.

You’ll suit this job if you:

- Have at least a year of face-to-face retail experience and enjoy working with people (required)
- Like figuring things out, and would rather find a solution than wait for instructions
- Can write a clear, friendly email
- Are comfortable on a computer and keen to learn new tools (we use Shopify and a few AI tools)
- Are happy with physical work. You’ll be lifting cartons up to 30kg regularly,



with two-person lifts for bigger pieces.
- Can work at least 4 days a week

Furniture or homewares retail experience is a big plus. Warehouse experience or a forklift licence would also help, but isn’t essential.
