Touch2Pay is an Australian payments and retail commerce technology company, providing merchant payment acceptance and infrastructure-as-a-service to banks, payment providers and retailers. We’re moving our merchants from traditional desktop point-of-sale onto mobile POS — and we need someone great with people to help get them there.
The Role
Most of our merchants know their existing desktop POS inside out. Mobile POS is newer to them, and that unfamiliarity slows down onboarding and everyday use. We’re looking for an outgoing, people-first Customer Success & Training Coordinator to close that gap — building merchant confidence through hands-on training, and opening conversations about what else Touch2Pay can do for their business.
This is a genuinely versatile part-time role: around 25 hours a week on a school-hours pattern, with travel to merchant sites capped at roughly once a month.
What you’ll do
- Deliver in-person and remote training to merchant staff on Touch2Pay’s mobile POS devices and software
- Learn our Merchants Point of Sale software
- Learn how to prepare our modern android mobile devices ready for customer use
- Learn about PCI compliance and assist our customers in maintaining their compliance
- Work as part of a team, winning, onboarding and transitioning customers to are more customer centric use of technology
- Build staff confidence as stores transition away from desktop POS
- Open and manage upsell and expansion conversations with existing merchants
- Travel to merchant sites as needed (no more than once a month)
- Work closely with our support team so every merchant has what they need to get started
About you
- Comfortable and confident presenting to a room — you read people well and adjust on the fly
- Background in sales, training, customer success or another customer-facing role
- Reliable, well-organised, and happy working independently
- This role would particularly suit someone returning to the workforce after a career break and looking for structured part-time hours — though we welcome applications from anyone who fits the above
- No payments or POS experience required — we’ll train you on the technical side
Hours & Pay Part-time, approximately 25 hours a week (school-hours friendly). Competitive salary, based on experience.
