We’re looking for an early to mid-career Defence professional to join Eolas for an immediate start.

This Defence consulting role would suit a project manager or business analyst who combines practical Defence experience with skills in strategic writing and document preparation.

What we’re looking for

- Around two to five years’ experience working in Defence, or more.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Project management or business analysis experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare briefs, papers and other documents for senior Defence leaders with limited supervision.
- The ability to research an issue, engage stakeholders and turn complex information into transparent advice.





The work will involve research, writing, document preparation, stakeholder consultation, facilitation and coordination. You will need to understand Defence and combine analysis with the ability to produce documents that support decisions.

About Eolas

Eolas has grown from one person to 28 over the past two and a half years. Six new team members have joined since July.

We only employ permanent full-time staff. We do not use subcontractors or employ people on fixed-term contracts. We have never made anyone redundant because of a gap in client-facing work. Between engagements, our people remain employed and use the time for professional development and internal priorities.

Applicants must hold a current NV1 clearance, have Defence experience and be available for an immediate start, working face-to-face in Canberra.
