About the opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic Full time Dental Assistant and Receptionist to join our friendly team at My Local Dentists. With 9 locations across Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to work across our practices, with flexibility to travel between locations as required. You will be rostered at one practice per day with the occasional Saturday as required. A driver's licence would be an advantage given the travel between locations, but it is not essential.

As you settle into this role, there will be opportunities to expand your skills and become involved in broader management and operational tasks, making this a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience beyond the clinical workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome patients with a friendly smile and help create a positive experience from the moment they walk in.

- Assist our dentists with a range of dental procedures and treatments.

- Ensure dental instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilised and ready for use.

- Help manage appointment bookings, patient records and general reception duties.

- Support the team with day-to-day administrative tasks to keep the practice running smoothly.

- Work alongside our lovely team of dentists and staff to provide the best possible care for our patients.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Receptionist is a bonus, but not essential!

- A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.





- Great communication skills and the ability to make patients feel comfortable and welcome.

- Someone who is organised, reliable and has good attention to detail.

- Confidence using computers and dental software, or a willingness to learn.

- A caring and patient nature, with the ability to work well in a busy environment.

- A team player who is always happy to lend a helping hand.

- Flexibility to work across our Sydney locations

- Someone with a keen eye for detail who takes initiative in identifying areas for improvement and finding ways to make our practices run more efficiently.

- Someone who is eager to learn, grow professionally and expand their skills beyond the clinical environment, with an interest in taking on broader operational responsibilities.

- A drivers licence is preferred but not essesntial
