The Prospect

We're seeking a highly experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Deer Park. As a crucial member of our fleet maintenance team, you'll ensure our vehicles and equipment perform at their best. This full-time role offers competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
- Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake replacements.




- Utilising diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts and maintenance schedules
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

- Full Australian working rights essential
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles on trucks and trailers.
- Heavy Vehicle Technician qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems in heavy vehicles.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
- HC/HR Truck License Highly Regarded
- Forklift ticket is desirable.
- Familiarity of Caterpillar desirable
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
