What you'll be doing

As an onsite Diesel Fitter at Hastings Deering, you will:

- Deliver quality service - carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers' equipment performs at its best.
- Follow the right procedures - Proactively research, verify, and apply the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.
- Do it once, do it right - take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided.
- Work to schedule - complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.
- Support genuine parts sales- promote and advise on the use of genuine Caterpillar parts to maximise performance and reliability.

What you'll need: A successful teammate will have experience in:

- Safety minded - committed to always maintaining high workplace health and safety standards.
- Team player - able to work well with others as well as independently when required.
- Experience that counts - previous experience working in the mining industry and experience with CAT Machinery.
- Strong communicator - excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.
- Reliable transport - this role is a Drive in/Drive out role so you will need the ability to get yourself to and from site
- Organised and effective - strong time management skills to keep jobs on track.
