We are a family-owned and operated early learning service, providing education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Our centre plays an important role in our close-knit community, and we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where children, families and educators feel valued and supported.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of our team, not just fill a position.

What we can offer you

- Competitive above-award remuneration that recognises your qualifications, skills and experience.
- Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.
- A welcoming, supportive and family-owned workplace where your contributions are genuinely appreciated.
- A small, close-knit team with approachable and supportive management.
- Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
- The opportunity to contribute your ideas and help shape our educational programs.
- A rewarding role where you can build meaningful relationships with children and families.
- The lifestyle benefits of living in a friendly, relaxed rural community.

About the role

As a Diploma-qualified Educator, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality education and care while contributing to the effective day-to-day operation, compliance and continuous improvement of our centre. This is an opportunity for an educator who is confident taking initiative, contributing ideas and taking ownership of responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include

- Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging,

play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Supporting children's learning, development, wellbeing and individual needs.
- Building positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Contributing to educational programming, observations, learning documentation and reflective practice.
- Reviewing, developing and updating centre policies and procedures to ensure they remain current, practical and aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS), Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Supporting the implementation of policies and procedures across the service and helping ensure educators understand and follow required practices.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records to support regulatory compliance, quality assurance and the safe operation of the centre.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) reviews and ongoing service development.
- Supporting health, safety, hygiene, supervision and child protection practices throughout the service.
- Working collaboratively with our Educational Leader and management team to maintain high standards of education, care and compliance.

We are looking for someone who understands that quality early childhood education involves more than what happens in the learning environment. Strong organisation, professional communication, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards are essential to this role.

About you

We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, compassionate and genuinely passionate about early childhood education.

Essential requirements:

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.

- Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain one before commencing.
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including confidence communicating professionally with families.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- A positive attitude, initiative and a genuine commitment to providing quality education and care.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded, although we welcome applications from recently qualified Diploma educators.
