Pyrmont Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate, experienced and nurturing Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our welcoming and growing team.

About the Role

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will work alongside our team to create meaningful learning experiences and a warm, engaging setting where every child feels a sense of belonging.

You will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge, share ideas and further develop your professional skills within a supportive centre environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0).
- Observe and document children's learning, interests and developmental progress.
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment that respects each child's individuality.
- Develop warm, respectful and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Encourage children's confidence, independence, social development and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and contribute positively to the daily operation of the room.
- Maintain active supervision and uphold child safety, hygiene and wellbeing practices.
- Contribute to reflective practice and continuous improvement in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and centre policies.





About You We would love to hear from you if you have:

- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Previous experience working in an early childhood education and care setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF V2.0 and National Quality Standard.
- Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and respectful approach to working with children.
- Initiative, reliability and a willingness to contribute ideas and learn from others.
- A current NSW Working With Children Check clearance.
- Current ACECQA-approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management training.
- An understanding of child protection, mandatory reporting obligations and child-safe practices.
- Completion of the applicable mandatory child safety and child protection training, or willingness to complete required training before commencing relevant duties.
