About the role

This is a full-time position suited to an experienced Dispensary Assistant who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy community pharmacy.

Working both independently and collaboratively with our pharmacists, fellow pharmacy assistants and management, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary and the delivery of excellent patient service.

Your responsibilities will include

· Supporting all aspects of day-to-day dispensary operations and prescription supply.

· Assisting pharmacists with dispensing workflows and the efficient management of prescription orders.

· Maintaining accuracy, organisation and attention to detail in a busy dispensary environment.

· Assisting others in the provision of a friendly, professional service to our patients and customers.

· Liaising with pharmacists, pharmacy management and other pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflows.

· Communicating professionally with medical and allied health staff associated with our general practice and hospital relationships.

· Contributing to dispensary organisation, stock management and the overall smooth running of the pharmacy.

· Taking initiative, working proactively and helping maintain a positive, collaborative workplace.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety,



takes pride in their work and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a well-established community pharmacy.

About you

Previous dispensary experience is essential. We are looking for someone who can bring practical experience, confidence and initiative to an established team.

You will ideally demonstrate

· Previous experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary.

· A sound understanding of dispensary procedures and prescription workflows.

· Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

· The ability to work independently, manage priorities and use initiative.

· A collaborative approach and a genuine willingness to support colleagues.

· Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise professionally with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.

· An energetic, positive and engaging personality, with a friendly and approachable manner.

· Reliability, professionalism and a genuine commitment to quality patient service.
