· Provide participants, families and carers with information and guidance on suitable recreational opportunities, community services and support resources.

· Encourage meaningful participation by adapting activities, environments and programs to accommodate individual communication, sensory, cognitive and physical needs.

· Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify environmental factors, skill deficits and the functions of behaviours of concern.

· Develop, implement and review individualised positive behaviour support plans that promote skill development, independence and quality of life.

· Implement individualised skill acquisition programs and positive behaviour support strategies to enhance functional life skills, communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.

· Collaborate with families, carers, support workers and allied health professionals to promote consistent implementation of individualised therapeutic and support programs.

· Monitor participant engagement, progress and outcomes, maintain accurate clinical records, and prepare progress reports and relevant NDIS review documentation.

· Provide guidance,

training, mentoring and supervision to staff and carers involved in delivering therapeutic recreation and skill development programs.

· Participate in regular professional supervision, ongoing professional development and multidisciplinary collaboration.
