PH MOTEL PTY LTD As the Duty Manager , you will be responsible for the effective management and coordination of Abode37 Motel's overall operations. Working across the various operational functions of the motel, you will ensure accommodation and guest services are delivered efficiently, rooms and facilities are maintained to a high standard, employees are effectively managed, operational costs are controlled and relevant workplace and regulatory requirements are met. The successful applicant will take an active management role in the property and will be accountable for maintaining service quality, operational efficiency and the overall guest experience.

responsibilities Manage and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the motel, ensuring efficient accommodation and guest services. Supervise reservations, reception, room allocation, check-in/check-out and other front-office activities. Coordinate housekeeping operations, room standards, cleaning schedules and presentation of guest accommodation.

Manage motel staff, including rostering, training, supervision, performance and allocation of duties. Oversee property maintenance, security arrangements and the upkeep of guest rooms, common areas and motel facilities. Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve complaints and implement service improvements where required.

Oversee purchasing, supplier arrangements, stock control, operational expenses and basic financial performance.



Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, accommodation standards, company procedures and other applicable regulations. Qualification &

experience Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field . Relevant 1-2 years of experience in hotel, motel or accommodation management.

Experience supervising staff, including rostering, training and performance management. Strong knowledge of reservations, reception, housekeeping and accommodation operations.

Experience with purchasing, supplier coordination, stock control and operational expenses. Sound understanding of budgets, revenue and basic financial administration. Strong customer service, communication and complaint-resolution skills. Knowledge of workplace health and safety and relevant accommodation requirements. Good organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Experience with property management or accommodation booking systems is desirable.
