Duty Officer

Source: uWorkin Reporting to the Senior Duty Officer within the Health, Safety, Environment and Compliance Department, Duty Officers provide Security, First Aid and Health & Safety support for the site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The position offers an attractive 4 on 4 off rotating day / night continuous roster., * Monitoring personnel, vehicles and assets accessing the site;

- Maintaining security of buildings and property;
- Maintaining the first aid facility;
- Initial contact for all site Emergency and first aid response; and
- Providing support regarding site health and safety activities.

About The Candidate

- Positive verbal and written communication skills with ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation;
- Previous experience in security operation and surveillance systems and/or emergency response occupations;
- Occupational First Aid certificate;
- Ability to develop workable solutions to issues and take appropriate action to address;
- Strong initiative and self-management; and
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
