About The Role In this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to advocating children and aligning with Insight Early Learning’s philosophy of Wisdom, Innovation, Sustainability and Equity.

You will be responsible for implementing an approved learning framework and supporting the overall wellbeing, growth, and education of young children.

A typical day may include:

- Actively supervising and engaging with children, supporting their curiosity and learning





- Supporting children’s learning through investigation, projects, and play-based experiences

- Monitoring children’s health, nutrition, and hygiene, while providing emotional support and guidance

- Changing nappies and attending to children’s personal care needs

- Maintaining a protected and nurturing environment for both children and staff

- Building strong relationships with children, families, caregivers, and team members

- Collaborating with the team, Room Leader, and/or Educational Leader to observe, document, and assess children’s developmental progress, and continuously reflect on and improve the educational program

- Being flexible to support any room or area where help is needed

- Performing cleaning duties and maintaining hygiene standards as required

- Working in line with Insight’s philosophy, policies, and procedures

- Performing ad hoc duties as required

What You Will bring:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or willingness to obtain qualification

- Current and valid NSW Working With Children Check (must-have)

- Experience working in an early learning setting is desirable
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
- A warm, positive and collaborative approach to working with children, families and colleagues





- Willingness to support children across different age groups and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment

- Valuable communication and teamwork skills

- Understanding of child safety, supervision and relevant policies and procedures

- Experience using Xplor or similar childcare management systems (nice-to-have)
