Position Details The school invites suitable applicants to apply for a full time, Education Assistant position, commencing January 1, 2027.

St Francis of Assisi Catholic Primary School is a vibrant learning environment, catering for students from a multicultural setting in a co-educational environment from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6. With approximately 470 children, our school is seeking an inspiring Education Assistant to join our community, someone who fosters a love of learning, enhancing student engagement and improving outcomes for all students.

Selection Criteria

- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education and demonstrate effective witness to faith.




- Show a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated educators to deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Ability to establish and maintain respectful, positive relationships with students, staff, and families, fostering a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Experience in supporting students with diverse needs, including behavioural, social, and emotional challenges
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Willingness to actively participate in school initiatives and events, and a commitment to ongoing skilled learning and development.

Qualifications Required Certificate III Education Assistant or above. Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School or willingness to work towards this.
