Queen of Apostles Primary School is a vibrant, single-stream Catholic primary school catering for boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. Situated in Riverton, the school is known for its welcoming community, strong Catholic identity and close partnership with the Parish and families.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and caring Education Assistant to join our Pre-Primary team for the 2027 school year.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Pre-Primary teacher to support the learning, wellbeing and development of our students within a positive, engaging and play-based Early Childhood environment. They will demonstrate a genuine understanding of the developmental needs of young children and an ability to build warm and respectful relationships with students, staff and families.

This is an ongoing position working in our Pre-Primary classroom.

Selection Criteria





- A commitment to supporting the Catholic ethos and values of Queen of Apostles School.

- A strong understanding of the developmental, social and learning needs of children.

- The ability to develop positive, nurturing and respectful relationships with young children.

- A high degree of professionalism, flexibility, initiative and confidentiality.

- Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively under the direction of the classroom teacher.

- Experience working within an Early Childhood or Pre-Primary setting is highly desirable.

Qualifications Required

- Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support, Education Support, Early Childhood Education and Care, or other relevant qualification.

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Current First Aid qualification is highly desirable.
