Our client, a prominent and reputable electrical contractor operating across Olympic Dam and Roxby Downs, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the delivery of major underground electrical infrastructure works.

This opportunity involves the construction and installation of underground substations, HV/LV electrical infrastructure, distribution boards, underground pump station power supplies and associated communications systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising electrical trades, coordinating multiple work fronts, managing project resources and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

To be successful you will have –

- 5 years’ or more experience in a similar role
- Experience in an industrial/mining workplace
- PLC, instrumentation & HV experience – advantageous
- SA Electrical A Class Licence or willing to obtain
- Underground experience – highly desirable

Duties/responsibilities –
- Lead and supervise electrical trades across underground and surface construction activities.
- Coordinate the installation of SWA HV cabling up to 300mm²
- Supervise installation of control boxes, distribution boards and LV electrical infrastructure
- Supervise installation of lighting, communications and underground Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Interpret electrical drawings, scopes of work and technical specifications.
- Manage project schedules, materials, subcontractors and variations
