About the role
Prepares accurate, competitive and well-qualified tender pricing so Boylson wins the right projects at the right margin. The role works alongside the existing estimating team, the Director and the Operations Manager. When a tender is won, the Estimator hands it over to the delivery team with a clear cost plan and a risk register.
Key responsibilities
- Tender review and planning
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and contract conditions
- Assess each prospect against Boylson's tender review procedure and help decide whether to bid
- Attend site inspections, tender briefings and client meetings
- Identify risks, scope gaps, exclusions and items that need clarification, and raise RFIs during the tender period
