A great opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a reputable construction contractor specialising in remedial works across the commercial, strata and government sectors.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead tender preparation, influence commercial decisions and contribute to the business’s continued growth.

About You:

- Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience within remedial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, pricing and cost planning.
- Experience preparing tenders, cost estimates, scopes of work and bills of quantities.
- Confident interpreting drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness,



with the ability to identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using estimating or construction management software.

Experience in waterproofing, concrete repairs, structural strengthening, façade remediation would be highly regarded.

The Role:

- Develop detailed cost estimates, tenders and pricing submissions for remedial and construction projects.
- Analyse drawings, specifications and scopes of work to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Undertake site inspections to assess site conditions, access requirements and potential construction challenges.
- Source, review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Evaluate tender risks, exclusions, assumptions and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Contribute to tender reviews, client negotiations and post-tender discussions.
- Maintain and update estimating records and cost databases to support accurate future pricing.
