The opportunity: At doris Talent, we're excited to be exclusively partnering with a brilliant, purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant to CEO.

This is an organisation doing genuinely important work, advocating for positive change, supporting diverse communities and working closely with government, industry leaders and key stakeholders across Australia. It's a relatively small team, but one with a significant national profile, growing influence and a CEO who is incredibly passionate about the work they do.

And they're looking for someone pretty special to join them.

This isn't your typical EA opportunity. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being a CEO's right hand. Someone who thinks ahead, brings structure to a busy day, knows what needs attention and takes real pride in making their executive's life easier. Someone who can confidently say, "Leave it with me."

The role:

Working closely with the CEO, you'll take ownership of their executive support, helping them navigate a busy schedule, competing priorities and relationships with some of the country's most senior stakeholders. You'll be trusted to make decisions, anticipate needs and ensure the CEO is always prepared, organised and able to focus on what matters most.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing a complex and ever-changing diary, anticipating clashes and planning well ahead.
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, confidently managing competing priorities and requests.
- Preparing meeting agendas, briefing papers, background information and relevant documentation.
- Liaising with senior stakeholders, including government representatives, ministers' offices, board members and external partners.
- Managing executive correspondence, drafting communications and ensuring important matters are followed through.
- Coordinating meetings, travel arrangements and occasional external events.
- Identifying potential issues before they arise and proactively finding solutions.
- Building a trusted,

collaborative working relationship with the CEO and wider team.

Above all, you'll take genuine ownership of the role. You won't need to be told what to do next because you'll already be thinking three steps ahead. About you:

We're looking for an experienced, confident and highly capable Executive Assistant who has supported senior executives or C-suite leaders in a busy, demanding environment. You'll be someone who combines exceptional organisational skills with emotional intelligence, sound judgement and a genuine ability to build relationships.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- Proven experience supporting a senior leader.
- Exceptional diary management, forward planning and prioritisation.
- Confidence communicating with senior and high-profile stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills and a strong eye for detail.
- The ability to work autonomously and exercise discretion.
- A proactive mindset, with a natural ability to anticipate needs.
- A calm, grounded and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and a collaborative working style.
- A genuine connection to the values and purpose of the organisation.

Experience within the not-for-profit, government or community sector would be wonderful, but it's certainly not essential. What's far more important is your experience, your approach to executive support and your ability to build a genuine partnership with the CEO.

What's on offer?

There's a lot to love about this opportunity. You'll be joining a welcoming, collaborative and genuinely inclusive organisation where people care deeply about the work they do and the communities they support.

You'll also enjoy:

- $100,000 super
- Genuine flexibility around working arrangements and office attendance. You can work from home full-time if desired.
- A permanent opportunity with a respected, growing organisation.
- The chance to work closely with an inspiring and passionate CEO.
- A supportive, values-led team that genuinely celebrates diversity.
- Meaningful work where your contribution will have a real impact.

While the organisation offers flexibility, there will occasionally be evening events or times when the CEO needs support outside standard business hours. It's very much a two-way approach, with flexibility and reasonable boundaries respected on both sides. A workplace where everyone belongs

One thing we particularly love about this organisation is its genuine commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.

This is a truly diverse organisation, both in the communities it represents and the people who make up its team. It's a workplace where different cultures, identities, backgrounds and lived experiences are welcomed, respected and celebrated.

It's an LGBTQIA inclusive and culturally diverse workplace where people are encouraged to bring their authentic selves to work, feel protected, supported and valued for who they are.

Interested?

We'd love to hear from you. If you're an experienced Executive Assistant who loves being a trusted right hand, thrives on responsibility and wants to work somewhere that genuinely makes a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
