Operating front-end loaders including Volvo and Komatsu machines in a busy commercial yard, you'll be responsible for loading trucks efficiently and accurately with mulch, soil and recycled landscape materials, managing stockpiles and supporting screening and recycling operations.
Key responsibilities
- Loading trucks efficiently and accurately with mulch, soil and recycled landscape materials
- Managing stockpiles and keeping different products separated
- Supporting screening and recycling operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised yard
- Completing daily machinery pre-start checks
- Reporting equipment faults and maintenance requirements
- Working closely with office and other yard operators to keep trucks moving
About you
- Proven commercial front-end loader experience
- Experience loading tipper trucks and other commercial vehicles
- Appropriate loader competency evidence and ability to demonstrate protected operation
- Good machinery care and awareness
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a growing local business
- Experience in busy yard operations such as landscape supplies yard, recycling facility, sand or soil yard, or quarry
