About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and empathetic Casual Support Worker to provide premium respite and complex care to our clients across Brisbane. This role focuses on delivering person-centred care to individuals requiring specialized support due to a disability. You will be working alongside a highly qualified and qualified care team to deliver optimal outcomes. Because this is a casual position, we are looking for someone with excellent flexibility to assist with varied shifts, including respite coverage, weekdays, weekends, or evenings. Your hourly rate will directly reflect your years of expertise and specialized skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver specialized, high-needs personal care, including safe manual handling utilizing hoists and slide sheets.





· Collaborate effectively with other members of your care team to maintain continuity of care.

· Provide reliable, high-quality respite care to give family caregivers a vital break.

· Assist with daily living activities, including mobility, meal preparation, and medication administration.

· Foster emotional support, companion care, and meaningful community engagement in the local Brisbane area.

· Maintain accurate shift notes and report changes in client health or behavior.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

· Minimum of 4 years of verified experience specifically within respite and complex care settings.

· Demonstrated competency and hands-on experience using manual handling equipment (hoists and slide sheets).

· Formal qualifications in the sector: Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Certificate III/IV in Disability.

· Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (Queensland) and/or current National Police Check.

· Valid Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) if supporting younger clients.

· Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.

· A valid open Australian Driver's Licence.
