Civeo is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Facilities Attendants for upcoming opportunities at our Rosewood and Waratah villages in Central Queensland. These Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) positions are ideally suited to candidates based in Rockhampton and surrounding communities.

As a Facilities Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining safe, functional and welcoming village environments through grounds maintenance, waste management, general maintenance and site presentation activities.

Successful candidates may be considered for opportunities at:

- Rosewood
- Waratah

These are Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) positions. Applicants should reside within reasonable driving distance of Rosewood or Waratah and are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from site. If you have experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, general maintenance, waste management or trade support activities, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Our Facilities teams play an significant role in maintaining safe, functional and welcoming environments for guests, clients and colleagues.

As a Facilities Attendant, you'll support the day-to-day upkeep of village grounds, facilities and buildings through grounds maintenance, general repairs, waste management and site presentation activities.

As this is a pipeline opportunity, applicants may express interest in Rosewood, Waratah or both locations.

Suitable candidates will be contacted as vacancies become available and provided with specific details including roster and commencement requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Undertake general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings




- Carry out gardening, landscaping and grounds maintenance duties
- Collect, maintain and manage waste throughout the village
- Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, whipper snippers and blowers
- Ensure workshops, storage areas, tools and vehicles are maintained in a tidy and safe condition
- Process maintenance requests through the property maintenance management system
- Follow all health, safety, quality and environmental requirements
- Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and improvement opportunities
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to guests, clients and colleagues
- Assist with other facilities-related duties as required

About You We'd love to hear from candidates who have:

- Previous experience in a maintenance, trades assistant, groundskeeping or facilities role
- Current Manual Driver's Licence (Class C)

- Forklift Licence
- Experience operating grounds maintenance equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance management systems

- Full Australian working rights




- Willingness to participate in a short video screening interview as part of the recruitment process
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one

- Earn up to $84,781 per annum, including DIDO allowance, with fortnightly pay
