We are a long‑standing, industry‑leading fabrication business specialising in sheet‑metal manufacture. We deliver high‑quality, precision work for local and national clients and invest in developing skilled tradespeople.

About the role

- Lead fabrication and assembly of complex sheet metal components using shears, rollers and laser equipment, ensuring precision and on-time delivery in a fast-paced production setting.

- Mentor and support junior tradespeople by sharing best practices for layout, bending, cutting and finishing, promoting continuous skill development and a safe workplace.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and CAD files to determine material needs, tooling and production sequences while proactively identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.





- Maintain high quality standards through careful measuring, inspection and corrective action, contributing to our culture of pride in workmanship and zero-compromise safety.

- Collaborate across teams (production, engineering, QA and planning) to meet tight schedules, suggest process improvements, and help sustain our positive, supportive company culture that rewards initiative and craftsmanship.

Hours & pay

- Full time, 38 hours per week

- Apprenticeship wage as per award (negotiable based on experience)

Requirements

- Driver’s license (essential)

- Good attitude, strong work ethic, punctuality and willingness to learn

- Basic numeracy and ability to read drawings
