Are you a hands-on mechanical or electrical technician who enjoys fault-finding, solving problems and working independently? This is an opportunity to join a global leader in Altona, providing service, maintenance and technical support on industry-leading equipment across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Your recent role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Servicing and maintaining concrete pumping equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Carrying out breakdown support and emergency repairs
- Commissioning new equipment and conducting customer handovers
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
- Providing technical support and advice to customers on-site
- Working closely with customers to minimise equipment downtime
- Assisting with workshop-based repairs when required

What you'll need to succeed

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Fitter & Turner or similar
- Experience working on mobile plants, construction equipment, agricultural machinery, trucks or heavy vehicles
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills




- Hydraulic troubleshooting experience highly regarded
- Basic electrical diagnostic capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously in a field-based environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Current driving licence
