Fundamental Resources Pty Ltd provides construction and civil contracting services, delivering solutions to the mining, industrial and commercial sectors. We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitter to join our maintenance team at Wiluna West, WA.

The role

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient fitting, maintenance, repair and inspection of tyres across mobile plant, road trains, light vehicles and heavy haulage equipment, supporting reliable and safe operations on site.

Key responsibilities

- Fit, remove, repair, rotate and inspect tyres on mobile plant, road trains, light vehicles and support equipment

- Carry out routine tyre inspections and keep correct tyre pressures and specifications

- Operate tyre handling equipment and tools safely and according to procedures

- Report tyre condition, defects and equipment availability to supervisors and maintenance personnel

- Complete work orders, inspection reports and tyre change records accurately

- Follow site safety systems,



complete pre-starts and hazard assessments, and report hazards and incidents

About you

- Demonstrated experience fitting tyres on heavy mobile plant, road trains or mining equipment

- Tyre fitting qualification or demonstrated competency

- Strong understanding of tyre wear patterns and defect identification

- Safety-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team

- High Risk Work Licence (desirable)

Requirements

- Current Australian driver’s licence

- Current National Police Clearance

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test

- Valid working rights in Australia

- Able to work a FIFO roster, including day and night shift
