Financial Accountant | Short-Term Contract

Location: Perth, WA Contract: Immediate start until Christmas 2026

Rate: $60 per hour + superannuation

About the Prospect

MARS Recruitment is partnering with an established business in Perth seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a short-term contract through to Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone immediately available who can hit the ground running and provide hands-on support across financial accounting, reporting and audit preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with financial reporting and month-end processes.
- Support audit preparation and compliance requirements.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger journals.
- Assist with BAS and other financial accounting duties.
- Provide additional support to the finance team as required.

About You





- Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant position.
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
- Experience supporting external audits.
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice.
