The Firm A WA-owned financial advice and wealth management firm, founded by former senior executives of one of Australia's leading wealth groups. The founders bring decades of combined experience in financial planning and wealth management, and two of the directors have worked the Albany market for more than 20 years. The firm has more than doubled in size in two years.

It's building a full-service financial planning business, invests in technology to cut admin, and backs the regions with marketing, community sponsorship and newly leased offices.

The Market

Albany is growing, with its population projected to reach close to 49,000 by 2036. More than a third of residents are aged 55 or over, compared with about 28% across WA. These are people approaching or entering retirement, when good advice matters most. More homes are owned outright than the state average, too. It's a market built for this role.

What You're Stepping Into

- An existing book of 80–100 clients, mostly approaching or in retirement

- Referrals already flowing: an established local accounting partnership sends around five leads a month, and most convert

- Strong support: a dedicated client services officer in Albany four days a week, offshore paraplanning, automated workflows and an experienced Perth head office
- A share in what you build: profit share, and for a high performer,



the ability to take an equity position in the Great Southern business

- Room to grow: plans to expand the Albany team, and the option to take on an additional book

- Relocation support, with the option to start in the Perth office for around six months before moving

The Lifestyle

- Swim at Middleton Beach before work, then get to the office in minutes.

- Spend weekends in Torndirrup National Park, on the Bibbulmun Track, or among the wineries of Denmark and Mount Barker.

- Watch whales from the shore in King George Sound during the season.

- Join a close community with good schools and solid sporting clubs.

About You The role suits either of two pathways, and remuneration and benefits are structured to match:

- An experienced adviser ready to lead the Great Southern business, with the opportunity to take profit share or an equity position for a high performer
- An ambitious, recently qualified adviser with at least 12-18 months as an authorised adviser post-PY, ready to step up and grow into the book and the region

Either way, you'll:
- Meet the qualifications standard and be listed on ASIC's Financial Advisers Register

- Be high trust, low ego and a natural communicator, and a good representative of the brand

- Be comfortable with technology and energised by change

- Be driven to grow the business and the relationships around it

- Already live in the Great Southern, or be keen to make Albany home
