About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Engineer to support firewall provisioning, security governance, audit compliance, and operational troubleshooting within a large enterprise network environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and implement firewall requests through ServiceNow.
- Configure and manage firewall policies, NAT rules, and network objects.
- Support firewall changes, deployments, and change management processes.
- Investigate and resolve firewall related connectivity and security issues.
- Perform firewall audit validation and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation records,



and reports.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security, Network Operations, and Project teams.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of Firewall Engineering experience.
- Strong hands on experience with:
- Check Point Firewalls
- Fortinet (FortiGate) Firewalls
- Experience with firewall rule provisioning, policy management, and NAT.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security.
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL based change management processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Telecommunications industry experience.
- Experience with firewall audits, governance, and compliance.
- Firewall certifications such as:
- Check Point CCSA/CCSE
- Fortinet NSE
- CCNP Security
- CISSP
