As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Fleet Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced transport environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding service to customers while supporting our drivers and operations team.

About the Role

As a Fleet Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating daily transport operations across our refrigerated fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within temperature specifications, while maintaining clear communication with drivers, customers and the internal team.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, solutions-focused and able to make confident decisions in a dynamic transport environment.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a fleet dispatch, transport coordination or transport operations role

- Experience working within the transport, logistics, warehousing or cold chain industry

- Strong understanding of fleet scheduling, route planning and load management

- Proficient in Transport Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and GPS tracking platforms

- Knowledge of fatigue management and HACCP requirements

- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build solid relationships with drivers and customers





- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think quickly under pressure

- High level of attention to detail and administrative accuracy

- Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced operational environment

Key Responsibilities

- Allocate and dispatch fleet resources to maximise service, efficiency and vehicle utilisation

- Monitor fleet movements throughout the day and proactively address delays, route changes and operational issues

- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, delivery requirements and customer expectations

- Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely, on time and within required temperature parameters

- Liaise with customers to provide updates and resolve transport-related enquiries professionally and efficiently

- Maintain accurate transport records, dispatch documentation and compliance requirements

- Work closely with warehouse, customer service and management teams to achieve operational objectives

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and service performance

- Ensure compliance with HACCP, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and company policies
