As a Foodbank volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting our mission to end hunger in the South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Food Hubs offer a dignified food relief shopping experience for those in need, set up to look like a general store.

Volunteer duties include

Greeter - welcoming and assisting vulnerable clients.

Check out - processing their shop on the computer system.

Deliveries – unloading pallets of stock

Warehouse - pick and packing orders and stocking the Food Hub shelves.

We are seeking volunteers who have people skills and enjoy working as part of a small and friendly team. You will engage with customer so an appreciation for client confidentiality and empathy for diverse clientele is highly regarded.





Basic IT experience is also key for those undertaking greeter and check out roles.

Light and heavy lifting may apply.

Volunteers are required to understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.

A National Police Check is required. If you do not hold one, we can help you obtain it.
