Franna Crane Operator:

Murray Engineering are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Franna Crane Operator to join the team at our state-of-the-art Pinjarra Headquarters. Operating out of our expansive 55,000m² facility, you will play a critical role in supporting our Fabrication, Mechanical Assembly and Heavy Mining Machinery rebuild workshop.

About the Role:

- Full-time position

- 7/7 Roster

- 12 Hour Day Shifts Only

- Superannuation paid on all hours worked

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Safe Operation: Conduct safe, efficient "pick-and-carry" movements utilizing our 20t Franna Crane to transfer heavy mining components, structural fabrications and machinery across the facility.

- Lifting & Rigging: Execute and oversee complex workshop lifts, ensuring all loads are securely rigged in accordance with site safety plans.





- Pre-Start Inspections: Perform daily logbook checks, preventative maintenance and strict safety pre-starts on the plant.

- Yard & Workshop Support: Assist workshop trades, fabrication teams and store person's with general yard duties and material handling when crane operations are not required.

- Safety Culture: Adhere strictly to Murray Engineering’s high safety standards, contributing to a zero-harm work environment.

Successful candidate must have:

- High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – CN Class: Must hold a valid non-slewing mobile crane licence

- Dogging Licence (DG)

- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence

- Construction White Card

- Forklift Ticket (preferred)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen

- Current National Police Clearance

- Must have full Australian Working Rights

- Reside within 60kms of Pinjarra workshop
