About the role The Manager, Fund and Investment Administration is an Australia-based role responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality day-to-day delivery across the function. The role acts as the clearly defined second-in-command (2IC) to the Senior Manager, owning daily prioritisation, execution discipline, incident coordination and service oversight so the Senior Manager can focus on broader leadership, senior stakeholders and transformation. The role is outcome-led by design, prioritising speed, control, efficiency and stakeholder experience over activity.

This role will provide hands-on oversight across core investment and fund administration activities for Australia, coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers to deliver BAU outputs, resolve breaks and exceptions, and maintain readiness for audit, risk and regulatory review. You will be expected to understand the key operational tasks and controls, relevant fund ranges and structures, investment instruments and lifecycle events, and the market-practice and regulatory requirements that apply in Australia, including close partnership with local front office and product teams. You will also need a strong awareness of Australian product structures, custody and cash market practices, unit pricing/NAV support, registry and corporate action activity and Australian tax processes.

Your day-to-day

- Lead day-to-day Investment and Fund Operations activities, ensuring service delivery, operational controls and key deadlines are met.
- Act as the operational 2IC to the Senior Manager, coordinating BAU priorities, managing incidents and providing clear stakeholder communications.
- Take ownership of operational queries and escalations, investigating issues,



coordinating internal expertise and guiding the team through resolution.
- Oversee investment operations including trade administration, matching and settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations and investment data management.
- Oversee fund operations activities including NAV oversight, fund tax, distributions, performance fees and exception management.
- Manage relationships with custodians, fund administrators and internal stakeholders across Investments, Product, Risk and Compliance.
- Drive process improvement, automation and AI-enabled initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability and control effectiveness.
- Develop team capability through coaching, cross-training and an approachable leadership style that builds confidence and independent problem-solving.

Your skills and experience

- Extensive experience across Investment Operations and Fund Administration, with strong technical fund administration expertise.
- In-house portfolio administration experience is highly regarded, alongside a sound understanding of the investment lifecycle.
- Strong technical knowledge of NAV oversight, fund tax, distributions, performance fees and operational controls.
- Proven ability to investigate operational issues, exercise sound judgement and resolve complex queries and escalations.
- People leadership experience or clear management potential, with a supportive, adaptable approach to coaching and developing teams.




- Robust stakeholder management skills and the confidence to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to automation, transformation or change initiatives within investment and fund operations.
- Experience with Aladdin is highly regarded.
