About St. Elizabeth Home

St. Elizabeth Home is a residential aged care facility located in Dean Park, dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents.

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated General Labourer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role involving lawn mowing, grounds maintenance, general cleaning and other labouring duties around the facility.

We are looking for someone who enjoys practical work, has a positive attitude and is willing to learn and assist wherever needed.

You need to have Valid police clearance for this role or willing to get one.

Key Responsibilities

- Lawn mowing, whipper snipping, garden trimming and general garden maintenance.
- Keeping outdoor areas, pathways and surrounding grounds clean and tidy.
- General labouring, cleaning and maintenance support.
- Moving furniture, equipment and materials when required.
- Assisting with basic repairs and maintenance tasks as directed.
- Safely operating lawn mowers, whipper snippers and basic hand tools.
- Following workplace health and safety procedures.Assisting in General preventative maintenance program
- Assisting the maintenance team with other day-to-day tasks as required.

About You

- Experience in lawn mowing, gardening or general labouring (preferred but not essential).

Previous experience is not essential. We are happy to provide guidance and training to someone who is motivated, reliable and willing to learn.

Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
