The Opportunity
Aspen Group is a growing ASX-listed property business that focusses on solving Australia’s housing and accommodation shortfall across its three main segments;
- Living (Build to Rent, Student Accommodation, Co-living and Land Development),
- Lifestyle (Land Lease and over 50s rental communities) and
- Holidays (Tourism and Workforce Accommodation).
Aspen has a strong track record of delivering industry leading, highly attractive returns, through disciplined investment, development and active operational management. The current executive team has been in place at Aspen since 2019 and led the company to achieve greater than 20% average Return on Equity per annum in addition to greater than 20% compound earnings growth over the period.
Our success is driven by an integrated business model combining four key capabilities:
- Owner: We invest directly in our properties and projects, maintaining control over our assets and investment decisions.
- Operator: We actively manage our properties to maximise performance, rather than simply collecting rent.
- Developer: We create quality, value-for-money accommodation through efficient development and redevelopment.
- Capital Manager: We make disciplined investment, funding and capital allocation decisions to optimise returns and manage risk.
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded graduate to join our WA team and help drive the continued success of the company.
Working directly with senior leadership, you will gain practical experience in how a growing property business operates, makes commercial decisions and delivers results. The role will be exposed to all areas of the business in WA (Operations, Development, Transactions and Capital Management).
Your primary focus will be supporting the operations and development teams that service our WA portfolio which represents approximately 40% of Aspen’s total portfolio nationally.
We are aiming to hire a candidate that we believe has the potential to become a senior leader in the Company.
What You'll Be Doing
- Commercial analysis: Analyse property performance,
identify opportunities and support financial and investment decisions.
- Business planning: Contribute to budgets, forecasts and strategies to improve performance.
- Operational improvement: Work with site teams to identify challenges, develop solutions and implement improvements.
- Projects and development: Support capital projects, property improvements and development initiatives.
- Performance management: Monitor results, track priorities and drive delivery of agreed actions.
- Business growth: Improve systems, processes and reporting to support continued growth.
This is a hands-on role and suits a candidate that is willing to embrace a broad range of challenges. One day you might be developing a financial model for a large-scale development; the next you could be visiting a regional property and working alongside a Property Manager resolving an operational challenge.
Why Join Aspen?
- Work directly with senior leaders and gain exposure to commercial decision-making.
- Build experience and get exposure to operations, property investment, finance and development.
- Take on increasing responsibility with the potential to progress into senior management.

- + Long-Term Incentive (LTI) - Annual Share/Equity scheme participation*
*STI and LTI are subject to performance, eligibility requirements and applicable scheme rules however Aspen has a strong track record of rewarding employees through these incentive structures.
