Help bring robots to new customers, explore new markets and keep a growing robotics company moving. If you’re commercially curious, organised and keen to get stuck in, this is the role for you!
About Puralink
There’s an entire world beneath your feet. We’re building the robots to explore it.
Pipes carry the water we drink, keep cities running and support everything from energy production to data centres. They’re essential, often difficult to access, and surprisingly poorly understood. We’re changing that.
Puralink is building the operating system for the world’s pipes. Our autonomous robot, the Ferret, gets inside infrastructure to inspect it. Our software platform, PuralinkOS, turns what it finds into intelligence that helps customers understand their assets and make better decisions.
Building the technology is part of the challenge. We also need to understand where it can make the biggest difference, connect with the right customers and turn interest into real deployments. That’s where you come in.
The role
You’ll work closely with our Co-Founder & COO across market research, business development, strategy and everyday operations.
One day, you might be researching how inspection contractors work in a new market. The next, you could be helping prepare a customer proposal, organising a site deployment or making sure the follow-ups from an industry event actually happen.
You’ll also help with the practical details behind that work: keeping our CRM current, coordinating, customer deployments, supporting on comms/marketing execution, and helping keep the Puralink engine running.
This role is designed for a graduate or someone early in their career who is hungry to learn how a robotics business grows.
You’ll get direct guidance and context from the founding team and will then encouraged to take ownership of projects and tasks as your confidence develops.
What you’ll do
- Explore new markets. Research industries, customers and competitors to help us understand where Puralink should focus.
- Turn research into recommendations. Pull together clear briefs on commercial opportunities, potential partners and routes into new sectors.
- Help build customer relationships. Identify prospective customers, prepare for meetings and support outreach and follow-ups.
- Support proposals and pitches. Help put together customer presentations, proposals and supporting material that explain what Puralink can do.
- Keep opportunities moving. Maintain our CRM, capture useful meeting notes and track next steps.
- Help bring the Ferret to customers. Coordinate demonstrations, customer visits, trade shows and industry events with the team.
- Keep the details under control. Support scheduling, supplier coordination, purchase orders, invoice administration and day-to-day HQ operations.
- Make things work better. Spot repetitive tasks or messy processes and help improve them.
What success looks like
Your research helps the team make a decision. Customer meetings are well prepared, follow-ups happen and our commercial information is easy to find and trust.
You’re increasingly able to take a task, work out what’s needed and see it through. Along the way, you’re building a practical understanding of our customers, our technology and how a robotics company wins business.
What we’re looking for
You’re curious about business and technology, enjoy getting organised and want a role where you can contribute across several areas.
You’ll bring
- Clear writing and confidence communicating with different people
- An ability to research unfamiliar topics and pull out what matters
- Good organisation and reliable follow-through
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, presentations and new software tools
- Attention to detail, whether you’re checking a proposal or updating customer records
- Initiative to get started and judgement to ask questions when you need help
- A willingness to take on both commercial projects and everyday admin
You might have studied business, commerce, economics, engineering or something else entirely. You could be finishing university, recently graduated or have a couple of years of experience.
Internships, part time jobs, university societies, volunteering and personal projects all count. We’re interested in what you’ve taken responsibility for and what you learned.
Nice to have
- Experience in customer-facing work, sales support, operations or market research
- Familiarity with a CRM or experience keeping a project organised
- An interest in robotics, infrastructure or how technical products reach customers
You don’t need to arrive knowing everything about robots or pipes. You do need to be interested enough to learn.
