This is a handyman role focused on residential property maintenance for homeowners and real estate agents on the mid-Sunshine Coast. You'll work on your own, dealing directly with customers, and be trusted to get work right the first time. The role requires a high standard of finish—work that looks like it was never damaged in the first place, with attention to detail that customers will notice.
Key responsibilities
- Plaster patching and repairs, finished smooth and invisible
- Interior painting and touch-ups, including clean cutting-in
- Door and window repairs: rollers, handles, locks
- Small tiling, grouting and silicone in wet areas
- Cabinetry and hinge adjustments
- Screens and insect mesh replacement
- Fencing and minor repairs
About you
- Proven plastering and painting experience
- Residential maintenance experience and confidence working on your own
- High standard of finish; you take care in occupied homes and clean up after yourself
- Current driver's licence
- Your own tools
- Your own reliable vehicle that can carry materials
- Honest, reliable and positive with people, both customers and workmates
