We’re creating a place that feels at home in Byron Bay — a destination for locals, visitors, creatives, design lovers and anyone who appreciates beautifully made things.

About the Role

As Store Manager, you'll be at the heart of our new Byron Bay store. You'll lead the team, champion The Milligram Experience and help shape how we become part of the local community.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being on the shop floor, getting to know customers, developing a team that makes things happen.

You'll be responsible for

- Building a great team — recruit,



lead, coach and develop a team that genuinely enjoys coming to work and makes customers feel welcome.
- Creating The Milligram Experience — bring our brand to life through exceptional service, product storytelling, visual merchandising and attention to detail.
- Driving performance — set clear goals, coach your team and create a culture where great performance is recognised and celebrated.
- Making the store your own — take ownership of the day-to-day running of the store, from rostering and administration through to stock, presentation and operations.
- Building community — make Milligram a meaningful part of Byron Bay through local relationships, events, workshops and experiences that give people a reason to visit and return.
- Connecting the dots — work closely with our office, warehouse, marketing and retail teams to make sure campaigns, stock, events and store operations come together seamlessly.

You don't need to be a stationery expert. You do need to be curious. You'll be a natural people leader who knows how to create energy, bring people together and make a team feel like a team.

You'll love being on the shop floor, have solid commercial instincts and care about the little details that make a customer experience memorable.

Most importantly, you'll want to build something, not simply run a store.
