TWFS is seeking an organised, proactive and customer-focused Hire Controller to join our team in Port Melbourne, Victoria.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in equipment hire, construction, logistics or inventory management who can coordinate equipment and consumables, manage job costing and invoicing, and build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers.

About the Role

As a Hire Controller, you will play a key role in ensuring projects receive the right tools, consumables and hire equipment when they need them. You will help coordinate daily hire requirements, maintain accurate records, manage billing and support the smooth running of store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the supply of consumables, tools and hire equipment to meet project requirements.
- Liaise with foremen, engineers, project managers, suppliers and other stakeholders to identify and source suitable equipment.
- Respond to equipment and hire requests via phone, email and in person in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing, project billing and hire equipment cost allocation.
- Maintain accurate records and data across relevant databases and systems.
- Generate stock, hire and analysis reports for management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain repair records and databases, ensuring repair costs are allocated to the appropriate projects.
- Assist with the day-to-day coordination and oversight of store operations.




- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Provide support to other team members as required and undertake additional duties as directed by management.

About You

Highly regarded:

- Previous experience with QuickTrans and/or Eproc.
- Knowledge of tools, consumables and equipment used in construction or industrial environments.
- Experience in equipment hire, logistics, construction or stores coordination.
- Experience with job costing, project billing and invoicing.
