You will be responsible for the overall management and successful operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high standards of service. This is a key role in our business.

You will bring strategic leadership and strong operational skills to grow profitability, guest satisfaction and team performance.

Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee daily hotel operations, including reservations, reception, room service, housekeeping, conference facilities and maintenance. Supervise property, security and maintenance operations to maintain safety and presentation standards. Plan, organise, and supervise conference room arrangements, catering, and food services for conferences and functions.

Monitor, assess, and review customer satisfaction through feedback and service quality checks. Reply to all guest reviews daily through ReviewPro, Booking, TripAdvisor, Expedia and all other 3rd party websites, including internal surveys, ensuring timely responses and maintaining positive customer relations. Oversee financial administration, payroll and purchasing to ensure accurate records and cost control.

Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations across all Hotel operations. Provide local tourism information to guests and arrange tours, travel, and transportation services when required. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staff training to maintain consistent service quality.

Manage staff rosters, recruitment, and performance reviews. Prepare and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets. Analyse financial reports, occupancy rates, and revenue performance to support business growth and profitability.





Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues promptly to protect guest satisfaction and our reputation.

Essential

Skills &

Experience required for the role AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Hospitality Management or at least three years of relevant experience in operational and financial management experience within a hotel environment in lieu of formal qualifications. Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and loyalty. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. A professional presence and the ability to build strong relationships with guests, local partners and new business. A proven track record managing hotels or similar accommodation.

Strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement. Living on site On-site accommodation is provided with this role. The successful applicant must manage overnight hotel operations and guest relations as a live-on-site Manager on Duty, answering after-hours calls and providing comprehensive emergency response outside regular reception hours.
