Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Casual Housekeeping Attendants to join our team.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our hotel.

Key responsibilities

- Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards.

- Change bed linen, make beds and replenish towels and guest amenities.

- Clean bathrooms and ensure all areas are hygienic and well presented.

- Maintain cleanliness in public areas as required.

- Report maintenance issues and lost property to the appropriate team member.

- Follow workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures.

- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

About you





- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

- Reliable, punctual and well organized.

- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work a flexible casual roster, including weekends and public holidays.

- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage, but a willingness to learn is essential.
